D.J.T. Technologies introduces the latest technologically advanced Eco-Friendly Beam generated systems into Incubators for the Agriculture markets.
Our Incubators are ideally suited and individually designed for farms that are located within geographical areas that encounter severe adverse weather conditions that would normally hinder the raising of Lifestock and Chickens.
"F.R.E.H" operates without coppers, batteries or pipes. The radiant system is based on film radiant electro heaters which is the most rational and modern technical heating system for inhabited and uninhabited buildings.
"F.R.E.H" can be used as an element for a total centralised heating system or for auxiliary heating.
The systems reliably provides a temperature mode with the lowest minimum consumption based upon 24 hour running
A film radiant electro heater with an additional thermal protection is installed on the ceiling occuping about 80 % of the ceiling's total area, thus creating a uniform heating of the entire area that provides a healthy high thermal level of comfort.
Radiant system thermal comfort (the "System") is intended for creating a thermal condition in accordance with the requirements of Zoological Technical Specifications for the cultivation of suckling-piglets in unheated pigs-queen cells.
The heat controlled - insulated Lair is warmed by a radiant electro heater becomes is the bases of the system.

2. Composition of the System/s
Functional diagram of the system is designed for either a single and or double Lair:
1 - Lair heated for 10-12 piglets
2 - Cover has a built in Radiant Electro Heater
3 - Temperature control
3. System Properties
The main advantage of radiant heating system Incubators is its uniqueness and flexible sizing varying in design from a single litter up to and accommodating 150 plus piglets.
The electro heater system emits gently controlled infrared beams (Life beams as that generated from natural Sun light). This defines the following properties of the system:
• Irradiation of soft infrared has beneficial effects on the peripheral circulatory system of the piglet’s skin and organisms which compensates their lack of available sunlight.
• An achieved thermal comfort by:
- Compliance with the radiated air temperature demanded by the physiological needs of the suckling piglet within this age period (the first condition of thermal comfort).
- Ensures that the temperature difference between the individual points within the piglet’s body is physiologically balanced (by no more than 2 ° C).
It maintains a thermal state of comfort for the suckling piglets.
4. The procedure in utilizing this technology in the growth and development of suckling-piglets
• Zoological requirements for growing suckling piglets is defined by the adherence of changing the ambient temperature according to their age:
Fig. 1
Fig. 2
• Newborn piglets are placed in the Lair on their first day of life. The Controller marked “t ° C" (per Figure 1) is then adjusted thus providing an ambient temperature +28 ° C. This temperature then remains unchanged for constant period of the first 7 days. The Setting "DB ° C “ is set at 2 ° C (marked with an asterisk per Figure 1) and remains unchanged for the whole period of incubation.Note: The temperature of the Liar at the back of the piglets has a variation of 1-2 ° C. • During the development stage and age of the piglets the temperature set point "t ° C “is adjusted according to the recommended temperature per the Incubation period (Fig 1). • The presence of the zone "DB ° C “from 2 ° C can change the temperature inside the lair of the prescribed limits. For example, at +28 ° C set point temperature will vary from +28 ° C to +26 ° C and vice versa. This creates the condition for the desired fluctuating temperatures. This variance of temperature allows for the piglet’s physical exercise due to the influence of slighter lower temperature when it is moved to the feeding by the sows / feeder, where temperatures could be +14 ° C or below.• The temperature comfort provided by the difference of temperature at the back of a pig in the litter no more than 2 ° C (the second condition of thermal comfort). This is achieved by the radiant electro heater located in the top of the lair and the litter of straw, located on a removable floor.• For sanitization purposes the Lair should be cleaned daily and only during feeding times when the piglets are with Sow:
- Unplug all electrics and if necessary, move the Liar to a cleaning area with handles provided
- Open the Lid of the Liar;
- Remove the removable floors;
- Scrub all inner parts and sanitise
- Reassemble and return dry unit with fresh straw
- Reconnect electrics and switch on.
- Once piglets have finished drinking off sow, help them back into the Lair.
5. The effect
Energy:
The consumption for heating of pen-queen cells are reduced 3 times.
Physiological:
Specific effect of infrared radiation maintains a high level of mortality of piglets, which provides intensive development of the organism with reduced risk of disease.
Technology:
Weights increased in 1, 3 - 1, 6 times, loss is reduced to a minimum.
Operating:
Den made of Stainless Steel, making it easy and convenient for sanitation, requires virtually no maintenance.
Economic:
- Weight of piglets after suckling period up to 18kg;
- Additionally life saved of 2.3 piglets from each litter;
- Payback period within the same farrowing, ie, 60 days
Durability:
Not less than 5 years
6. Schematic diagram of the system control
The management system is a temperature regulatored Lair 1A, which consists of sensor-relay electronic temperature T419-2M and temperature-sensitive element TCHE mounted inside dens - analogue. With the setting of the sensor-relay set to the desired value of temperature and the zone of return. On the sensor-relay through the switch voltage is ~ 220.
If the temperature inside the lair drops below the required temperatures, given set point, the contact of the regulator to the closed and heaters den 1A, 1B voltage is applied. The Electro Heaters then switch on in each of the Liars providing the temperature den-analogue 1A reaches the specified value. Since the den-analog 1A and den 1B are approximately the same conditions, the temperature there will be virtually identical.
Feature of this scheme is that the preparation for work and the conclusion of the work den 1A and 1B by means of sets of "plug-in socket". Sets 1 and 2 are located on the riser next to the lair of 1A and the connected lair carried by its inclusion plugs into a socket located on the control unit.
7. Safety
Commissioning of the system and switching on must be executed by an electrician who knows the characteristics of the system.
Switching off of the electrics and unplugging socket from wall must be executed prior to opening, cleaning and Sanitization of the Lair.
8. Guarantees by the Developer
The Developer guarantees the reliability and accuracy of the system for 1 year from date of installation of the Liar.
